Deck Projects Made Easy
Compare the typical deck-building experience with the MyAurora way — clear communication, clean workmanship, and a managed process for deck building, deck repair, and deck resurfacing/staining across Toronto and the GTA.
Why Choose MyAurora for Your Deck?
- Vague pricing, unclear scope, and change-orders that show up late
- Wobbly framing, uneven boards, or bouncy feel underfoot
- Weak footings/posts that can shift, sink, or twist over time
- Stairs and railings that don’t feel solid or don’t meet expectations
- Messy jobsite and poor cleanup around landscaping and entryways
- Clear, itemized quote with defined scope (build / repair / refinish)
- Proper layout + framing for straight lines, clean board spacing, and stability
- Footing/support planning for long-term strength (posts, blocks, or concrete as required)
- Solid railings + safe stairs with clean finish details
- Optional staining/sealing or resurfacing to extend deck life and improve curb appeal
Deck Building & Repair Payment Structure
To protect homeowners across Toronto and the GTA (Oakville, Mississauga, Burlington, Milton, Brampton, Vaughan, Richmond Hill and nearby cities), MyAurora uses a clear, milestone-based payment schedule for deck building, deck repair, and deck replacement. Payments are linked to real progress—so you’re not paying far ahead of the work.
- 20% – Booking & layout confirmation
This secures your build/repair date and covers on-site measurements, deck layout confirmation, stair/railing planning, and a materials takeoff based on your design (pressure-treated wood or composite). - 35% – Material order/delivery & jobsite setup
Due once materials are ordered and staged (or delivered) and we’re ready to start. This includes framing lumber, posts/footings (as applicable), fasteners, hardware, railings, stair components, and decking boards based on the agreed scope. - 35% – Mid-project milestone (frame secured / structure built)
Collected when key structural work is completed—typically after footings/supports are set, the frame is installed and leveled, and the main deck surface installation is underway. For repairs, this aligns with completing the primary fixes (framing reinforcement, board replacement, stair/railing stabilization). - 10% – Completion & final walkthrough
The final payment is due only after the deck is finished, cleanup is complete, stairs feel solid, railings are secure, and you approve the result. We do a walkthrough and confirm alignment, stability, and finish details.
This payment structure keeps deck projects transparent and fair, aligning each payment with a clear milestone and verified progress— whether you’re building new, repairing an existing deck, or upgrading stairs and railings.

Our deck had a few soft spots and the railing felt loose. We wanted a modern deck with a clean look that would improve curb appeal. MyAurora kept everything square and level, and the finishing details look high-end. The final result feels strong, looks sharp, and is built to handle Ontario weather.

Our deck was fading and starting to look dry. MyAurora handled the prep and applied a stain/sealer that brought the colour back evenly (no patchy spots). The finish looks clean, and we feel confident the boards are protected for the next few seasons.
We needed safer steps and a railing that felt strong. MyAurora rebuilt the stairs with better spacing and installed a solid handrail that doesn’t wobble. The upgrade made a huge difference for daily use, especially with kids and groceries.
Our deck needed proper railing and safer edges. MyAurora helped plan the layout and finished the railing with clean lines and strong posts. Everything feels secure and the deck looks professionally done. The whole job was clear and organized from start to finish.
Our old deck was falling apart and we wanted a full rebuild. The crew removed the old material, kept the area tidy, and rebuilt everything with clean corners and straight boards. The new deck feels strong, looks uniform, and finally gives us the outdoor space we wanted.
We wanted our deck to look clean without doing a full rebuild. MyAurora replaced the worst boards, tightened up the structure, and finished it so it looks consistent again. It feels safer, looks better, and the process was smooth and well communicated.
